Plastic Chamber Flash & Gate Removal

Challenge
The unloader for this customer's injection molding machine could not manipulate the part through a flash & gate removal process. Manual degating was too slow and ergonomic issues were wearing out operators. A secondary machine was needed to perform this operation.

Solution
A stand-alone machine is fed manually by the operator. The machine automatically trims the flash and gates and ejects the part onto a conveyor for transport to the packaging area.
