Challenge
Go to full-scale automation on a new wheel cladding process in parallel with the final stage of product design and process development. Many critical process parameters were not defined until after the automation was built.

Solution
A highly agile production line that automatically moves product between modular process stations. Each process station easily adapts to new process parameters. By designing agility into the machine, the equipment could be built while product and process definition was being completed. This approach shortened the overall time to market for the customer.
